How do I stay well when things around me are threatening my sanity?

How do I stay well when things around me are threatening my sanity?

First, remind yourself of this, regardless of how much seems out of your hands, you are in control of your body. Second, you can choose your reaction to the things you cannot control. The struggle is REAL. There’s no use in pretending that what we are experiencing is normal or that you should feel embarrassed to have some anxiety. There are times in our lives when stress is overwhelming. That’s a great time to make note of what you do have control of- and take that control. This is not a vacation and while being lax about structure sounds nice, it can begin to erode your confidence and your physical health. As a health coach I know one thing for sure, human bodies are made for routine and built to be used, yes, exercised. There’s a reason exercise minimizes the risk for every single major health crisis in the world. It works. We are so human right now in many beautiful ways and we need to respect and protect that. These things are simple, but not always easy. Stay focused on your best self, friends.
