American Heart Association Woman of Impact Announcement
Congratulations are in order!
We would like to congratulate our founder, Heather Sholl, on her nomination as one of the American Heart Association’s Woman of Impact candidates! Our Cardiac Rehab and Prehab programs caught the attention of Houston leaders as ground-breaking solutions to a well-known and long-running problem in our healthcare system here and nationwide. With this nomination we have committed to working with the Memorial community to support Go Red for Women through fundraising and education on heart disease in women.
We are also honored to announce that we are working with Memorial Hermann Hospital to help bridge the patient care gap, so people with heart attacks receive referrals to rehab immediately after a cardiac event and do not experience the long wait times other hospitals are facing, or the loss of care altogether as programs close during COVID. Memorial Hermann is committed to the long-term health of their patients regardless of where they receive care. We are incredibly appreciative to be hands on with a system of this size going the extra mile for their heart patients.
Check our social media and website to learn about how you can help us reach our fundraising and education goal for Go Red for Women!
Think boot camps for teens, big ticket raffle items, CPR classes, FREE gym memberships and more!!
